Sailor Uranus is one of the Outer Senshi, and arguably the strongest senshi IN THE PHYSICAL SENSE. She can take Jupiter on any day; Sailor Starfighter punched her square in the gut in Sailorstars, but Uranus just smiled evilly and beat her back. At first, she seemed to be at odds with Sailor Moon and the Inner Senshi, but in the end Haruka becomes part of the team (in Sailorstars) along with Neptune, Pluto, and Saturn. Haruka likes to race, and owns a really cool sports car along with a couple of motorcycles. She goes to Juuban High School with Michiru, Usagi, and the rest in the manga (comic). In the anime, Haruka, Michiru, and Hotaru go to Mugen School.
Haruka's first job as a Sailor Senshi was to defend the Moon Kingdom from attacks by hostile forces. This makes a difference, as her duty was to defend the Moon Kingdom -- NOT the Moon Princess. She was the carrier of one of the talismans in Sailor Moon S, a sword. Her role changes in Sailorstars as Galaxia threatens the Earth and the Sailor Team. Haruka looks out for Usagi, most notably when she warns Usagi to stay away from Seiya (Sailor Starfighter). Aside from Mamoru and Seiya, Haruka is the only other person who calls Usagi by her nickname ("odango-atama"). Sometimes, she also calls her a "cute little kitten."
